Jackson County records 13 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday
State health officials reported 85 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, including 13 in Jackson County, pushing the statewide count to 209,494 cases, and the local total to 11,696.
One COVID-19 death was reported in Oregon Tuesday, a 63-year-old Douglas County man who tested positive May 23 and died June 10 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass.
On Tuesday, 12 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Southern Oregon.
Since the start of the pandemic, 815 Jackson County residents have been hospitalized and 148 people have died.
Statewide, 125 people were hospitalized Tuesday with COVID-19, down 15 from Monday. Twenty-nine people were in intensive care.
