Jackson County at 299 COVID deaths
Jackson County reported 56 new COVID-19 cases and another death Thursday.
The new cases bring the latest case log to 22,583 and pushed the death toll to 299, according to Jackson County Public Health data.
Details about the latest coronavirus fatality were not available as of Thursday afternoon.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,661 Jackson County residents have been hospitalized with COVID-19.
The number of COVID-19 patients in Southern Oregon hospitals continues to fall. On Thursday morning, 47 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Jackson and Josephine counties.
