Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Bruce Bartlett Vankirk, Jr., 50, no address available. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Vankirk on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and on an out-of-county warrant for allegedly failing to appear on a separate drug charge. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail.
  • Sex offender registration — Casey Raynell Grafton, 33, of the 2000 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. Medford police late Sunday arrested Grafton on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged late Sunday in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $15,000 bail.
  • Theft — William Micah Hamarr, 33, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Hamarr on warrants charging him with two counts of first-degree theft and one count of second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held late Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail.
  • Theft — John William Nelson, 28, of the 100 block of Arnwood Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Nelson on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail, where he was released Monday night after posting bail.
  • Assault — Chris Villanueva, 50, of Grants Pass. Villanueva made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked Monday in the Jackson County Jail and released.
  • Drugs — Enid Sutton Rosebro, 38, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Rosebro Sunday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained Sunday in lieu of $10,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Joseph Luise McKenney, 41, of Fresno, Calif. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested McKenney Sunday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of contraband. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Sunday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
