Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Sara Elaine McNamer, 20, address unknown. Medford police arrested McNamer late Saturday on charges of marijuana possession and methamphetamine possession. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Sunday in lieu of $25,000 bail.
  • Assault — Shanna Aleena Cate, 34, of the 7800 block of Atlantic Ave., White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Cate late Saturday on charges of second-degree felony assault, fourth-degree assault, two counts of harassment and two counts of failure to pay traffic fines. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Sunday in lieu of more than $1 million bail.
  • Drugs — Darren Lee Heath, 43, of Marysville, Wash. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Heath early Sunday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, menacing, harassment, endangerment and a parole violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $16,000 bail.
  • Theft — Skyler Andrew Barge, 19, of the 10 block of Ashley Place, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Barge Sunday on charges of first-degree felony theft and second-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $15,000 bail.
  • Assault — Bradley Joseph Holmgren, 33, of 200 block of W. Linn Road, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Homgren Sunday on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, strangulation and two counts of harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Crime reports

Vehicle theft — 600 block of Spring Valley Drive, Medford. Police took a report Sunday in which a 2002 white Volkswagen Jetta was stolen. The vehicle's Oregon license plate number is 743CPU.

Collision — Both lanes of Highway 140 were shut down Sunday after two vehicles collided near Kershaw Road in White City. Two drivers and a passenger were injured in the accident, which occurred around 7 p.m. All were taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center. Their names and condition and the cause of the accident were unknown late Sunday. Oregon State Police was expected to release more details today.
