Felony arrests

  • Assault — Teri Renee Thompson, 46, of the 7900 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Tuesday arrested Thompson on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, harassment, felony assault of a police officer and resisting arrest. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Amanda Joanne Thompson, 18, of the 600 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Thompson on a charge of possession of hallucinogens. She was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Forgery — Soledad Rodeo-Delapena, 27, no known address. An Oregon State Police trooper Wednesday arrested Rodeo-Delapena on charges of first-degree possession of a forged instrument, failure to display a vehicle operating license and suspicion of being in the country illegally. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Assault — Robert James Hefel, 21, of the 100 block of Mistletoe Street, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Hefel on two counts of fourth-degree felony assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault, strangulation, first-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and three counts of harassment. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Assault — Scott Michael Asberry, 50, no known address. Asberry appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, driving under the influence of intoxicants, two counts of reckless endangering and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
  • Forgery — Saul Hernandez-Morales, 18, of Pittsburgh, Calif. Hernandez-Morales appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Burglary, theft — Mary Lynn Amo, 53, of Missoula, Mont. Medford police Thursday arrested Amo on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest. She was lodged in jail on $55,000 bail.
