Sheriff's Department asks for help in Subway robbery

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon need your assistance in identifying the suspects in an armed robbery at Subway, 8336 Highway 62, No. 101, White City, on Thursday.

The store clerks reported that a single suspect entered the restaurant a little after 7 p.m., displayed a gun and demanded cash.

After the suspect left the store, he ran north and entered the rear passenger seat of a light-colored, possibly white, 1980s Honda Civic four-door sedan. The vehicle was seen heading north on Highway 62 toward Eagle Point. Witnesses said there was a getaway driver in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 17 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 150 to 180 pounds. The suspect had "very blue" eyes and brown hair and was wearing a gray homemade-style ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
