Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Richard Howard Mitchell, 23, of the 2600 block of Sparta Way, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Mitchell on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Cynthia Elizabeth Butler, 25, of the 500 block of North Holly Street, Medford. Butler appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Chastity Rose Pinedo, 24, of the 1000 block of Sunset Avenue, Medford. Pinedo appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — Scheree Nichole Schmitt, 35, of the 300 block of East 12th Street, Medford. Schmitt appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft, seven counts of second-degree theft and tendering bad checks. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Burglary, theft — John Harry Wilkes, 20, of the 2900 block of Provincial Street, Medford. Wilkes appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Aggravated theft, theft, forgery, identity theft — Michael Lee Morgan, 47, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Morgan on three counts of first-degree aggravated theft, 15 counts of first-degree theft, three counts of second-degree theft, three counts of first-degree forgery and five counts of identity theft. He was lodged in jail on $450,000 bail.
