Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Curtis Douglas Patton, 22, of the 500 block of Alberts Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday added a charge of possession of methamphetamine against Patton. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Assault — Carlos Omar Cruz-Villa, 20, of the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Cruz-Villa on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, harassment and suspicion of being in the country illegally. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Identity theft — Rebecca Jean Young, 19, of the 3600 block of Avenue G, White City. Medford police Wednesday arrested Young on five counts of identity theft, six counts of tendering bad checks, second-degree theft and second-degree forgery. She was lodged in jail on $53,000 bail.
  • Assault — Manuel Enrique Castillo, 17, of the 5800 block of Table Rock Road, Central Point. Castillo appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with second-degree assault and menacing. He was lodged in jail on $200,000 bail.
