Felony arrests

  • Child neglect — Teah Marie Deshane, 25, of the 900 block of Jasper Street, Medford. Deshane appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree child neglect and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft — Corina Kay Obanion, 43, of the 400 block of Beebe Road, Central Point. Obanion appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on a charge of first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Drugs —Marc Maza, 24, of the 100 block of North Pacific Highway, Talent. Maza appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with delivery of cocaine near a school, manufacture of cocaine near a school, first-degree child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and endangering the welfare of a minor. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Forgery — Dion Michael Parlato, 37, of the 1400 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Central Point police Tuesday arrested Parlato on charges of first-degree forgery, attempted first-degree theft and first-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was lodged in jail on $14,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report in which four steel jump plates were stolen. The loss was valued at $600.
