Felony arrests

  • Sex-offender registration — was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $19,000 bail.
  • Assault — Michael Dean Minto, 18, of the 300 block of Edwards Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Minto on a charge of third-degree assault. He was lodged Monday at the Jackson County Jail, where he was released Monday on his own recognizance.
  • Criminal mischief — Howard William Baker, 61, no address available. Central Point police Monday arrested Baker on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, reckless burning, second-degree arson and second-degree trespass. He was lodged Monday at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
  • Burglary — Joseph Deon McDaniel, 17, of the 1700 block of East Main Street, Medford. McDaniel was transferred Monday from the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Hall to the Jackson County Jail on two counts of first-degree burglary and one count each of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was lodged at the jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $50,000 bail.
  • Drugs — John Henry Grader, 43, of Yahats. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Grader on an out-of-county warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Monday at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
  • Robbery — Elizabeth Jean DePoy, 39, of the 400 block of Northwest Elm Street., Grants Pass. Medford police Monday arrested DePoy on charges of third-degree robbery, harassment, second-degree theft and driving while suspended. She was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where she was being held in lieu of $22,000 bail.
