Felony arrests

  • Tampering — Dustin Nicholas Bispo, 25, of the 300 block of Garfield Street, Ashland. Bispo appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with tampering with drug records and second-degree forgery. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Burglary, aggravated theft, theft — Caleb Joseph Malbeck, 21, of Grants Pass. Malbeck appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree burglary, first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Theft — Wesley Blake Moody, 51, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Moody appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • DUII — Robert Lee Wiedrich, 51, of the 1500 block of Sardine Creek Road, Gold Hill. Wiedrich appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with felony driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Identity theft, forgery — Matthew Charles Knochtel, 18, of the 700 block of Hopkins Road, Central Point. Knochtel appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with identity theft and first-degree forgery. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Identity theft, forgery — Donea Odell Morris, 18, of the 6100 block of Iris Lane, Central Point. Odell appeared Wednesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with identity theft and first-degree forgery. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 600 block of Spring Valley Drive, Medford. Medford police Wednesday took a report in which a license plate, truck key, CDs, pistol, jacket and necklace were stolen. The loss was valued at $1,065.
  • Theft — 600 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday took a report in which a trailer and dolly were stolen. The loss was valued at $2,000.
