Police looking for man who robbed bank in Grants Pass
GRANTS PASS — Police here are seeking the public's help finding a man who robbed a Liberty Bank branch Friday morning, officials said.
The man walked into the bank at 660 S.E. Seventh St. just after 11 a.m. and demanded money from a teller, according to Grants Pass police.
The man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers soon arrived on scene and conducted an extensive check of the surrounding area but were unable to track down the suspect.
Witnesses describe the man as 5-foot, 8-inches tall, with reddish-brown hair, a mustache and soul patch, and bad teeth. He wore a black knit cap, black overcoat, grey hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants.
Even though no weapon was used during the robbery, Grants Pass Department of Public Safety officials said he should be considered dangerous and should not be approached.
