Felony arrests

  • Warrant — Shawnda Colleen Hackworth, 39, of the 600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Hackworth on warrants charging her with first-degree criminal mistreatment, identity theft, first-degree forgery and two counts of first-degree theft. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Jeremy Michael Hayes, 32, of the 1000 block of North Main Street, Ashland. Hayes appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacture of marijuana, delivery of marijuana and possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Elias Francisco Dechristo, 29, of the 1000 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. Dechristo appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — David Wayne Cowart, 50, of the 1200 block of Morrow Road, Medford. Cowart appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs —Tene Lamisa Femi, 52, of Oakland, Calif. Femi appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of MDMA. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.

u Drugs, identity theft — Jesse Wayne Rivera Jones, 36, of the 600 block of East Main Street, Medford. Jones appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of heroin, identity theft and second-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

  • Mistreatment, tampering — Rebecca Sue Humphries, 36, of the 2300 block of Ruhl Way, Medford. Humphries appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree criminal mistreatment, tampering with drug records and third-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Criminal mischief — Russell James Thurnbauer, 18, of the 1700 block of Hybiscus Street, Medford. Thurnbauer appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree criminal mistreatment, second-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Warrant —William Shannon Franz, 40, of the 200 block of North 10th Street, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Franz on an out-of-county warrant charging him with first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.
  • Weapon — Alberto Castro, 26, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Castro on four counts of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
