Motorcyclist injured after riding into flatbed truck
A 27-year-old man was injured Sunday when his motorcycle rear-ended a flatbed truck in the 2900 block of Avenue A in White City.
Clinton Maguire was driving east on Avenue A when the accident occurred at about 6:40 p.m. He was ejected from the motorcycle and landed about 10 feet away from the truck's passenger side, said Jackson County sheriff's Deputy Tim Kennedy.
Maguire's city of residence was unavailable.
Kennedy said alcohol is suspected to be involved.
Jackson County Fire District 3 responded to the scene and transported Maguire to Rogue Valley Medical Center.
He remained in the emergency room as of 10:30 p.m. Sunday. His condition was not immediately available.
