Felony arrests

  • Sex-offender registration — Steven Arta Workman Jr., 20, of the 200 block of North Front Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Workman on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Assault — Charlene Suzyanne Zepeda, 25, of the 300 block of O'Gara Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Zepeda on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail then released Monday on bail.
  • Fugitive — Christopher Jack LaBrecque, 21, of the 400 block of Chestnut Street, Ashland. Medord police Monday arrested LaBrecque on a fugitive warrant out of California. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Assault — Matthew John Petee, 18, of the 11500 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Petee on two counts of third-degree assault and one count of menacing. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail on $54,000 bail.
  • Identity theft — Dustin Dillin Reynolds, 20, of the 2400 block of Garland Place, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Reynolds on one count each of identity theft, first-degree theft, first-degree forgery, second-degree forgery and third-degree theft. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Crime reports

  • Theft — 1300 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police at 9:52 a.m. Monday took a report of the theft of 2,000 EA Golf range balls from the Stewart Meadows driving range. The loss was valued at $900.
  • Theft — 700 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:28 a.m. Monday of the theft of a $2,000 pocket watch, a $1,500 gold nugget ring and miscellaneous CDs and clothing from a parked vehicle. The loss was valued at $5,285.
  • Theft — 700 block of Kenyon Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:52 a.m. of the theft of a laptop computer, inflatable raft and miscellaneous other items from a vehile. The loss was valued at $1,555.
