Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Anne May Hunt, 36, of the 1100 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Hunt on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Sex offender — Jason Ryon Fries, 40, of the 900 block of Sydney Court, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Fries on charges of failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Michael Aaron Bates, 51, of the 1100 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Bates appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Elude, drugs, assault — Kaitlyn Rachael Oas, 20, of the 2700 block of Griffin Creek Road, Medford. Oregon State Police Thursday arrested Oas on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, reckless driving, possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. She was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Anna Laura Martines, 39, of the 2900 block of Winter Nell Circle, Medford. Martines appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Identity theft — Denise Nannette Earp, 44, of Dayton, Nev. Earp appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with two counts of identity theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Burglary, aggravated theft, theft — Brandon Lee Smith, 27, no known address. Smith appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with five counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Donald Howard Smith, 45, of the 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Smith appeared Friday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of heroin. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Tammy Renae Regis, 42, of the 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Smith appeared Friday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of heroin. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.
  • Theft, burglary, aggravated theft — Travis Norcross Stevens, 27, of the 5500 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Stevens appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree theft and first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Gretchen Wren King, 31, no known address. A sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested King on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Kevin Walker Maple, 27, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Maple on charges of possession of heroin and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Charles Eric Jackson, 22, of the 1300 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Medford Area Drug and Gang enforcement officers Thursday arrested Jackson on charges of manufacture of heroin, delivery of heroin, possession of heroin, manufacture of psilocybin mushrooms, delivery of psilocybin mushrooms and two counts of possession of psilocybin mushrooms. He was lodged in jail on $105,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Bernie George Helms, 21, of the 300 block of South B Street, Phoenix. MADGE arrested Thursday arrested Helms on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Assault — Kelly Marie Clancy, 38, no known address. A sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Clancy on charges of third-degree assault, four counts of felony fourth-degree assault, two counts of harassment and two counts of menacing. She was lodged in jail on $46,000 bail.
  • Burglary, theft — Brett Lee Woolley II, 22, of the 300 block of Fargo Street, Eagle Point. Woolley appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
