Pullover leads to pills, two handguns, arrest
CENTRAL POINT — The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team (MADGE) seized a large amount of Oxycontin pills and two handguns Thursday afternoon.
MADGE stopped Joseph M. Goldring, 34, in the 6400 block of Wilson Lane in Central Point.
During a search of his car, officers found $1,200 in Oxycontin pills, $8,000 in cash and two handguns.
Goldring was arrested on felony counts of possession of synthetic drugs, delivery of synthetic drugs and being a felon in possession of firearms.
He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $15,000 bail.
Goldring has previous felony convictions for delivery of drugs. His next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19, according to Jackson County Circuit Court records.
