Felony arrests

  • Vehicle theft, burglary, theft — Dereck William Cohen, 30, no known address. Oregon State Police Thursday arrested Cohen on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Vehicle theft — Christopher Aaron Kniffen, 24, of the first block of Eagle View Drive, Eagle Point. OSP Thursday arrested Kniffen on two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs, burglary, theft — Ellen Mae Sinclair, 29, of the 1200 block of Greepark Drive, Central Point. OSP Thursday arrested Sinclair on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of synthetic drugs, delivery of synthetic drugs, first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Aggravated theft, theft — Donna Marie Wattes, 51, of the 400 block of Merlee Circle, Eagle Point. Wattes appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with aggravated theft and two counts of first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released.
  • Identity theft — Crystal Loween Collins, 37, of the 800 block of Ellen Avenue, Medford. Collins appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with three counts of identity theft. She was booked into jail and released.
  • Robbery, weapon — Javier Banuelo, 30, of the 3000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Banuelo on charges of first-degree robbery, coercion and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Assault — Stephen James Note, 60, of the 500 block of Havana Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Note on a charge of second-degree assault. He was lodged in jail on $1 million bail.
  • Identity theft, aggravated theft — Marci Irene McComas, 25, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested McComas on charges of identity theft and aggravated theft. She was lodged in jail on $40,000 bail.
