Felony arrests

  • Assault — Bryan Michael Wenzel, 18, of the 1800 block of Easy Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Wenzel on charges of second-degree, third-degree and fourth-degree assault, menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on more than $1 million bail.
  • Burglary — Michael David Sargent, 30, of the 200 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Sargent on charges of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree theft and single counts of possession of heroin, second-degree theft and third-degree theft. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $80,000 bail.
  • Assault — Joseph Wade Shelton, 24, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Shelton on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $8,000 bail.
  • Identity theft — Robert Bruce Trotta, 45, of the 200 block of West Hersey Street, Medford. Ashland police Sunday arrested Trotta on warrants for aggravated identity theft, two counts of identity theft and two counts of first-degree theft. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $75,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Aaron Edward Scott, 39, of the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Scott on charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Jessica Artie Clark, 33, of the 5600 block of Cottage Avenue, Klamath Falls. Talent police Tuesday arrested Clark on two counts of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
