Felony arrests

  • Weapon — Daniel Christopher Calway, 27, of the 400 block of Coral Circle, Phoenix. Phoenix police Wednesday arrested Calway on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, eight counts of recklessly endangering and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released after posting bail.
  • Drugs — Kayse Brynn Doyle, 30, of the 100 block of Le Roy Circle, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Doyle on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Lisa Summers, 48, no known address. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested Summers on charges of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of possession of synthetic drugs. She was booked into jail and released.
  • Drugs — Damion Michael Bevilaqua, 34, of the 500 block of West 12th Street, Medford. Bevilaqua appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released.
  • Drugs — Jacob William Prest, 22, of the 2000 block of Lazy Creek Drive, Medford. Prest appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of heroin. He was booked into jail and released.
  • Aggravated theft — Carolyn Marie Kuykend, 44, of the 300 block of West Gregory Road, Central Point. Kuykend appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with two counts of aggravated theft. She was booked into jail and released.
  • Identity theft — April Dawn Martin, 23, of the 3200 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Martin on charges of identity theft, credit card fraud and second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $13,000 bail.
  • Weapon, coercion — Douglas James Hughes, 58, of the 200 block of Cottage Street, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Hughes on charges of coercion, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and attempted second-degree kidnapping. He was lodged in jail on $19,000 bail.
