Felony arrests

Assault — Richard Leslie Almanzo, 52, of the 400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Almanzo on two counts of fourth-degree felony assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault, two counts of harassment and two counts of interfering with a police report. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Theft — Kenneth James Allen, 20, of the 3200 block of Antelope Road, White City. Allen Wednesday made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree theft, third-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Drugs — Stephane Erin Samaniego, 29, no known address. Central Point police Wednesday arrested Samaniego on charges of possession of methamphetamine and an out-of-county warrant on charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.

Drugs — Jessica Michelle McCoy, 31, of the first block of Lewis Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested McCoy on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, delivery of heroin, manufacturing heroin, possession of heroin and two counts of first-degree child neglect. She was lodged in jail on $1,080,000 bail. 

Drugs — Seth Alan Schoonover, 31, of the first block of Lewis Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Schoonover on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, delivery of heroin, manufacturing heroin, possession of heroin, two counts of first-degree child neglect and nine counts of felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail on $1.13 million bail. 

Crime reports

Theft — 3500 block of South Village Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday of a theft of a laptop, iPad and prescription medications. The loss was valued at $1,610.  

Vandalism — 300 block of Englemann Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report at 11:43 a.m. of vandalism to a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,000.
