Missing Medford man found safe in Sweet Home
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says a Medford man missing since Friday has been found safe more than three hours from where he disappeared.
A sheriff's release said 42-year-old Shawn May was found in Sweet Home in good condition and without medical needs. Further details were not immediately available.
May had been missing since Oct. 3, when he called his girlfriend to say he was taking back roads home to Medford after a freelance contracting job in Prospect. When May didn't come home, his girlfriend reported him missing at 6 p.m. Search and rescue volunteers from Jackson, Josephine, Klamath and Siskiyou counties helped deputies with the search, along with both Civil Air Patrol and volunteer pilots.
