Felony arrests

Robbery — Padyn Daniel Dineen, 24, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Dineen on charges of first-degree and second-degree robbery, menacing and first-degree burglary. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on more than $2 million bail.

Drugs — Paul Estle Dean, 41, of the 2200 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Dean on charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, furnishing false information to police, interference with a police officers and for failing to appear on drugs and weapons charges. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Assault — Levi Dale Lucas, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday added charges of third-degree assault and harassment to Lucas. He remained lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Assault — Lucas Cleveland Atkins, 31, of the 5600 block of Stratford Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Atkins on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, strangulation and harassment. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Michelle Julie Optekar, 44, of the 200 block of West Rapp Road, Talent. Optekar made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked Monday in jail and released.

Drugs — Jacob Charles Rouse, 37 of the 3000 block of Cody Court, Medford. Rouse made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession, manufacture and distribution of oxycodone. He was booked Monday in jail and released.

Crime reports

Theft, Vandalism — First block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:10 a.m. Monday of the theft of a cane and vandalism to a pair of dentures. The loss was valued at $730.

Theft — 1800 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:13 a.m. Monday of a break-in to a vehicle from which a GPS and stereo combination was stolen and the dashboard vandalized. The loss was valued at $1,865.
