Felony arrests

Identity theft — Cynthia Lynn Gimenez, 44, of the 200 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Gimenez on charges of two counts of first-degree theft, aggravated identity theft and failure to appear on a charge of providing false information to police. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $38,000 bail.

Assault — Alexis Fernando Trujillo, 28, of the 2100 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Trujillo on charges of two counts of assaulting a police officer, two counts of harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and contempt of court. He was lodged in jail on $28,000 bail.

Assault — Michael Allen Breeden Jr., 43, of the 2200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Breeden on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and harassment. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Drugs — Zerick Kerr Brown, 28, of the 100 block of Almond Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Brown on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was lodged in jail without bail.

Warrants — Just Robert Cole Jr., 20, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers Sunday arrested Cole on out-of-county warrants for charges of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of menacing and two counts of endangering another person. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.

Drugs — Kimberly Leeann Herring, 26, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Herring on charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear on a charge of first-degree trespassing.  She was lodged in jail on $9,000 bail. 

Vehicle theft — Paul Estle Dean, 41, of the 2200 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Dean on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, providing false information to police and failure to appear on charges of supplying contraband, possession of methamphetamine, third-degree theft and carrying a concealed weapon. He was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:48 p.m. Saturday of the theft of a Toshiba laptop from a residence. The loss was valued at $800.
