Felony Arrests

Assault — Bobby Joe Hooks, 34, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Tuesday arrested Hooks on charges of second-degree assault, third-degree assault, fourth degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $75,000 bail.

Assault — Michael Steven Campbell, 37, of the 1100 block of Mt. Ashland Road, Ashland. Ashland Police officers Wednesday arrested Campbell on charges of second-degree assualt, menacing and third-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Daryl John Krajewski, 44, of Williams. Krajewski Wednesday made his initial appearance at the Jackson County courthouse on charges of third-degree assault, misdemeanor driving under the influence of intoxicants and endangering. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Brendan Shaun Murdoch, 29, of the 1100 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Wednesday arrested Murdoch on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail without bail. bail.

Drugs — Frank Morgan Wheeler, 44, no known address. Oregon State Police Wednesday arrested Wheeler on charges of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, hit-and-run with a vehicle-property, reckless driving, two counts of endangering, first-degree criminal mischief, attempted elude with a vehicle, attempted elude on foot. He was additionally arrested on failure to appear warrants for two charges of first-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of body armor, and two charges of aggravated theft. He was lodged in jail on $82,000 bail.

Mail theft — Katelyn Anne Shannon, 22, of the 500 block of Ragsdale Road, Trail. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Wednesday arrested Shannon on charges of mail theft, second-degree theft and two counts of second-degree forgery. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Joey Lee Hooser, 21, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway. Hooser Wednesday made his first appearance on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 2300 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday of 52 native trees and shrubs vandalized. The damage was valued at $1,000.

Theft —  1900 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday of sound equipment theft, including a Yamaha mixer, Shure wireless microphone systems, a Schulmerich hand bell, two Sennheiser microphones and two AKG Pro-Audio microphones. The loss was valued at $1,853

Burglary — 1300 block of Highcrest Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary in which a tan microfiber sectional couch was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Burglary — 900 block of Sunrise Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary in which a white 17-inch laptop, SLR digital camera and lens, Taurus 9 mm hammerless revolver and assorted jewelry were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $6,500.

Burglary — 2200 block of Aloha Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary in which an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, television and DVD player were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $2,150.

Burglary — 2200 block of Aloha Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary in which a Sony PlayStation 4 videogame console, PlayStation 3 console, assorted video game discs, a motorcycle helmet and a skateboard were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,150.
