Felony arrests

Attempt to elude — Pedro Sanchez-Camacho, 18, of the 400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Sanchez-Camacho on charges of attempt to elude by vehicle, attempt to elude by foot and providing false information to police. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Jesse Lee Cox, 32, of Merlin. Oregon State Police Tuesday arrested Cox on charges of possession of methamphetamine, interfering with a police officer, providing false information to police, failure to display an operator's license and failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft, reckless driving and DUII. He was lodged in the jail on $50,000 bail.

Theft — Breana Leigh Franklin, 36, of the 2100 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Franklin on charges of aggravated first-degree theft, aggravated identity theft, first-degree theft, identity theft and failure to appear on charges of possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Sex offender, drugs — Nikki Jane Smith, 30, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Smith on charges of failure to register as a sex offender, failure to register her address as a sex offender, possession of oxycodone and failure to appear on a charge of third-degree theft. She was lodged in the jail on $68,000 bail.

Drugs — Christopher Brennan Nelson, 29, of the 700 block of Park Street, Ashland. Medford police Wednesday arrested Nelson on three counts of possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was lodged in the jail on $46,000 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday of a burglary to a residence during which a game console, a diamond necklace, a Toshiba laptop, a handgun, three pocket knives and two boxes of .40-caliber ammunition were taken. The loss was valued at $3,750.
