Felony arrests

Robbery — Joseph Edward Conand, 27, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Conand on charges of third-degree robbery, third-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the Jackson County jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Adrian Wyatt James King, 23, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested King on charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear on charges of possession of heroin and methamphetamine, two counts of first-degree theft, two counts of third-degree theft, hit-and-run, driving under the influence of intoxicants and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail on $67,000 bail.

Drugs — Kristie Leeanne Geiges, 39, of the 1800 block of Gene Cameron Way, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Geiges on charges of possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Theft, drugs — Aaron Edward Frick, 38, of the 3100 block of Blackthorn Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Frick on two counts of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of first-degree theft, seven counts of violating a restraining order and two counts of possession of a concealed weapon. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Matthew William Ehlers, 31, of the 13200 block of Welch Street, Waterford, Calif. Medford police Sunday arrested Ehlers on charges of possession of methamphetamine, menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Danielle Cassidy Stanford, 37, of the 2700 block of Ruth Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Stanford on charges of two counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a concealed weapon, and failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine and hindering prosecution. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Zachary Brice May, 28, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested May on charges of possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation for driving while suspended. He was lodged in jail on $3,000 bail.

Drugs — Jennifer Lynn Jewett, 37, of the first block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Jewett on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs — Natasha Nichole Taylor, 28. Medford police Sunday arrested Taylor on charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. She was lodged in jail on $40,000 bail. 

Fire calls

Vehicle fire — Flames gutted a recreational vehicle parked on a Jackson County Fuel Committee lot at the corner of Eagle Mill Road and South Valley View Road in Ashland late Saturday night. 

Jackson County Fire District No. 5 authorities said the fire was first reported at 11:18 p.m. Saturday. Crews responded with one engine and one tender and managed to get the flames under control by 12:37 a.m. Sunday.

The tender remained on the scene until around 2 a.m. to mop up hot spots. 

The cause remains under investigation.
