Felony arrests

Drugs — Bailey Cheynne Cornett, 18, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Cornett on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Cynthia Eve Cole, 49, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Cole on felony charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the jail on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Willie Oska Lacey, 65, of the 3600 block of Abigail Drive, White City. Medford police Wednesday arrested Lacey on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the jail.

Drugs — Steve Pitzl, 56, of the 1200 block of West 10th Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Pitzl on felony charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Sex offender — Michael Joseph Taylor, 30, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Taylor on a felony charge of failure to register his address as a sex offender, misdemeanor charges of interfering with a police officer and providing false information to police and a parole violation for attempted first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Forgery — Aaron Michael Brown, 28, no known address. Medford police Wednesday arrested Brown on felony charges of second-degree forgery, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, identity theft and a parole violation for first-degree burglary. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Drugs — Elisabeth Barbara Pitts, 45, of the 5900 block of Table Rock Road, Central Point. Medford police Wednesday arrested Pitts on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft, failure to appear on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass and a probation violation for identity theft. She was lodged in the jail on $30,000 bail.

Drugs — Brian Robert Barnes, 46, of the 100 block of Amy Street, Central Point. Barnes Thursday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Justin Dee Chapman, 30, of the 1100 block of Lozier Lane, Medford. Chapman Thursday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mistreatment — Vernon Ray Davis, 29, of Klamath Falls. Davis Thursday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mistreatment — Brittany Starr Menefee, 26, of the 400 block of Clay Street, Ashland. Menefee Thursday made her first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Weapons — Donald Gilmore Strong, 52, of Grants Pass. Strong Thursday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another, reckless driving and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Robbery — Robert Allen Wilson, 25, of the 1900 block of Pepper Street, Medford. Wilson Thursday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of third-degree robbery and nine counts of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Krystal Rae Powers, 32, of the 1600 block of Neil Creek Road, Ashland. Medford police Thursday arrested Powers on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear on two counts of second-degree criminal trespass. She was lodged in the jail on $27,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday of the theft of a Saiga .308-caliber rifle and a Kalinka-brand rifle scope. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday of the of an AM/FM CD player, speakers, an amplifier, miscellaneous tools and California license plates from a vehicle. The vehicle's ignition was also punched out. The loss was valued at $1,201.
