Felony arrests

Drugs — Jack Homer Rice, 44, of the 4000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Talent police Friday arrested Rice on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of DUII. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Kenneth Dale Herring, 51, of Shasta Lake, Calif. Herring Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unlawful cutting and transporting of special forest products. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Rashauna Leigh Dodge, 29, of the 3000 block of Ruby Drive, Medford. Dodge Friday made her first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — James Matthew Woodard, 39, of the 4600 block of North Pacific Highway, Central Point. Woodard Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of heroin. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Sex offender — Andrew Lewis Stratton, 61, of the 3100 block of Corey Road, Central Point. Stratton Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of failure to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Kristopher Allen Pritchett, 32, of the 400 block of West 12th Street, Medford. Pritchett Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Daniel Paul Thomas, 28, of the 900 block of Glengrove Avenue, Central Point. Thomas Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Tyson Matthew Wallis, 30, of the 900 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. Wallis Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Bonna Jean Miller, 52, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Miller on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in the jail on $40,000 bail.

Drugs — Jordan Eric Lee Cardenas, 18, no known address. Eagle Point police Friday arrested Cardenas on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in the jail on $28,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 2500 block of Ashwood Court, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:41 a.m. Friday of the theft of a nine-piece Shun knife set with case, a pair of men's pants and a rain jacket. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Burglary — 200 block of North Front Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 4:33 p.m. Thursday of a burglary to a residence during which a Dell laptop, an HP desktop computer, a Citizen chronograph watch, a Samsung monitor and tires were taken. The loss was valued at $2,506.

Burglary — 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:31 a.m. Friday of a burglary to a residence during which a 55-inch Zenith television, a 30-inch Insignia television, two Sony tower speakers, a subwoofer and an Xbox 360 were taken. The loss was valued at $1,000.
