Child pornography — Samuel George Whyte, 22, of the 400 block of Village Court, Talent. Talent police Monday arrested Whyte on one count of displaying a child in sexual conduct and two counts each of first-degree encouraging child sex-abuse and invasion of personal privacy. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $1 million bail.
Assault — Phillip Alexander Clark, 38, of the 1100 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Clark on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged Monday in jail on $8,000 bail.
Fugitive — Edward Allen Clement, 50, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Clement on a fugitive warrant out of California. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.
Theft — 400 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 1:50 p.m. Sunday of the theft of two saws. The loss was valued at $1,350.
Theft — Fir and Grape streets, Medford. Medford police at 11:48 a.m. Sunday took a report of the theft of a camera and gear from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,181.
