Felony arrests

Theft — Calvin Johnson III, 26, of the 300 block of Elm Street, Phoenix. Ashland police Thursday arrested Johnson on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Assault — Ruben Camacho-Picaza, 28, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Thursday arrested Camacho-Picaza on felony charges of first-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was lodged in the jail on $50,000 bail.

Drugs — Michael James Curtis, 41, of the 200 block of DeBarr Avenue, Medford. Curtis Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and probation violation for identity theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Arson — Jeremy Glenn Withrow, 31, no known address. Withrow Friday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree arson and a misdemeanor charge of reckless burning. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs, identity theft — Jordan Marcus Orcutt, 26, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Orcutt on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, first-degree theft and seven counts of identity theft and misdemeanor charges of attempted first-degree theft and unlawful entry to a motor vehicle and a contempt charge.  He was lodged in the jail on $61,000 bail.

Assault — Larry Charles Barlow, 35, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Barlow on felony charges consisting of two counts of fourth-degree assault and two counts of strangulation and misdemeanor charges of harassment, violation of a no-contact order, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the jail on $32,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 400 block of North Phoenix Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:40 a.m. Friday of the theft of Cincinnati Reds collectibles, a bicycle and an air-conditioning unit. The loss was valued at $1,520.

Theft — 2100 block of Happy Valley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:15 a.m. Friday of an unlawful entry to a motor vehicle during which an air compressor, extension cords, a skill saw, a tool belt, rubber hoses, miscellaneous keys, an air compressor hose and a phone charger were taken. The loss was valued at $1,505.
