Theft — Jasmine Marie Lovett, 24, no known address. Ashland police Tuesday arrested Lovett on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $15,000 bail.
Sex offender — James William Wood, 30, no known address. Central Point police Tuesday arrested Wood on a felony charge of failure to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in the jail on $5,000 bail.
Drugs — Brandon Stosh Zakowski, 27, of the first block of Myers Court, Medford. Zakowski Tuesday made his first appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Erika Eldeen Wingfield, 32, no known address. Wingfield Tuesday arrested Wingfield on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin. She was lodged in the jail on $20,000 bail.
Sodomy — Sean Geoffrey Myers, 46, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Tuesday arrested Myers on felony charges of first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree burglary and forced ingestion of a controlled substance and six misdemeanor counts of invasion of personal privacy. He was lodged in the jail on more than $1 million bail.
Assault on a police officer — Randi Lynn Barnum, 49, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Barnum on a felony charge of assault on a police officer and misdemeanor charges of interfering with a police officer, DUII, carrying a concealed knife and harassment. She was lodged in the jail on $20,000 bail.
Burglary — 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:22 a.m. Monday of a burglary to a residence during which a gold ring, a silver ring, a Canon point-and-shoot camera, a Radio Shack police scanner, a gold cross with chain, an iPod Touch, a silver lady's ring and postage stamps were taken. The loss was valued at $1,034.
Theft — 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:12 a.m. Monday of the theft of an appliance dolly, extension cords, ladders and bungie cords. The loss was valued at $1,525.
