Fraud — James Charles Nistler, 84, of the 2400 block of Nieto Way, Medford. Nistler made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Court on eight counts of security fraud, three counts of aggravated first-degree theft and racketeering. He was booked Monday in the Jackson County Jail and released.
Drugs — Steve Pitzl, 57, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Pitzl on charges of possession of methamphetamine and first-degree trespassing. He was lodged Monday in jail on $35,000 bail.
Identity theft — Stephen Daniel Coder, 31, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Coder on nine counts of identity theft, three counts of first-degree theft, five counts of second-degree theft, one count of possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, third-degree theft and warrants charging him with failure to appear on previous theft charges. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.
