Felony arrests

Burglary — Michael Walter Cohen, 34, no known address. Ashland police Monday arrested Cohen on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, four counts of second-degree theft, and four counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $58,000 bail.

Sex-offender registration — William Joseph Paris Shepard, 27, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Shepard on two counts of failing to register as a sex offender and for violating the condtions of his parole on a previous rape conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Drugs — Justin Paul Byrd, 21, of the 1900 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Byrd on a charge of possession of heroin and for failing to appear on a misdemeanor theft charge. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Teri Lynn Smith, 54, of the 1100 block of Douglas Avenue, Medford. Smith made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked Monday in jail and released.

Drugs — Rebecca Mae Bailey, 51, of the 700 block of West Fourth Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Bailey on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on a previous disorderly conduct charge. She was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Jose Ladrillero-Ramirez, 63, of the 1100 block of Crown Avenue, Central Point. Medford police Sunday arrested Ladrillero-Ramirez on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — David Ira Russell Allard, 23, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Allard on a charge of possession of a controlled substance as well as failing to appear on drug and theft charges. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Fugitive — Aaron William Bing, 24, no known address. Federal authorities Sunday arrested Bing on a fugitive warrant out of Pennsylvania. He lodged Sunday in jail without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:12 a.m. Monday of the theft of a bicycle. The loss was valued at $2,000.
