Felony arrests

Drugs —  Keri Lynn Oakes, 38, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Oakes on charges of methamphetamine possession and second-degree trespass. She was booked into Jackson County Jail and released due to overcrowding.

Assault — Cody Tyler Teixeira, 20, of the 1400 block of Oleander Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Teixeira on charges of fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment and second-degree kidnap. He was jailed on $21,000 bail.

Weapons — Shannon Patrick Oakley, 46, of the 700 block of Summer Glen Drive, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Oakley on a charge of felon in possession of a weapon, a probation violation. He was jailed without bail.

Drugs — John Thomas Haynes, 58, of the 100 block of Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Hayes on charges of methamphetamine possession, second-degree robbery, a parole violation, and two counts of failing to register as a sex offender. He was jailed on $50,000 bail.

Hit-and-run —Shane Paul Davis, 26, of 200 block of Cottage Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Davis following an injury hit-and-run accident, a parole violation. He was jailed without bail.

Drugs — Benjamin Paul Lusby Jr., 53, of the 200 block of Ivy Street, Medford. Central Point police Sunday arrested Lusby on a charge of methamphetamine possession, a parole violation. He was jailed without bail.

Drugs — Joseph Brandon Guyette, 33, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Guyette on charges of possessing, manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine, as well as out-of-county warrants for possessing, manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine. He was jailed on bail of $1,045,000.

Drugs — Matthew Alan Desmet, 33 of the 2100 block of Sunburst Court, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Desmet on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants,  methamphetamine possession and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Francesco Valentine Console, 25, of Hilo, Hawaii. Ashland police Sunday arrested Console on two counts of fourth-degree assault, two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of trespass. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Nathan Alexander Coggins, 26, of the 200 block of W. Pine St., Central Point. Sheriff's deputies Sunday arrested Coggins on a charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked into Jackson County Jail and released due to overcrowding.

Drugs — Jared Lee Swindell, 26, of the 4100 block of Grant Road, Central Point. Sheriff's deputies Sunday arrested Swindell on charges of heroin possession, possession of concealed weapon and failure to appear in court concerning six drug, theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Identity Theft — Johanna Eloisa Garrido, 37, of the 500 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. Medford police Sunday arrested Garrido on charges of identity theft and second-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Robert Allen Wilson Jr., 25, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Wilson on charges of methamphetamine possession, resisting arrest, possession of a concealed weapon, a felon in possession of a weapon and failure to appear for previous robbery, theft, methamphetamine and forgery charges. He was jailed on bail of $50,000.

Theft — Monica Nicole Leventry, 35, of Trail. Sheriff's deputies Sunday arrested Leventry on charges of first-degree theft, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and failure to appear for a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was jailed on bail of $29,000.

Theft/weapons — Jesse Lee Jeska, 34, no known address, Sheriff's deputies Sunday arrested Jeska on charges of felon in possession of a weapon, a probation violation, first-degree theft, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude and endangering. No bail information was available.

Crime reports

Theft —  Medford police took a report of theft at 10:42 Saturday of a Glock 42 .380 caliber handgun with a loaded six-round magazine from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Layla Drive.

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 11:49 a.m. Sunday of a smashed front auto window, theft of laptop computer, Garmin GPS, tools and speakers in the 3200 block of Bryson Way. The loss was valued at $3,100.
