Felony arrests

Burglary — Teresa Lynn More, 55, no known address. Medford police arrested Moore Monday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance.

Forgery — Drai Scott Murray Beveridge, 27, of the 1600 block of Parker Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Beveridge Tuesday on felony warrants for first-degree forgery and possession of a forgery instrument, and for a misdemeanor charge of hit and run. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Tanya Elizabeth Fitzhugh, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Fitzhugh Tuesday on a felony charge of possession of greater than 4 ounces of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $9,000 bail.

Drugs — Dru Ceasar Boehme, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Boehme Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with a police officer and for failure to appear on out-of-county charges of attempted elude and reckless endangering. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $85,000 bail.

Rape — Matthew Hokulii Aranda, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Aranda Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, coercion and third-degree sodomy, and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a minor and stalking. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on over $1 million bail.

Assault — Amanda L Kirkpatrick-Riley, 33, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Kirkpatrick-Riley on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was lodged in jail on $28,000 bail.

Drugs — Brittney Lorna Hooper, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Hooper Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with a police officer, for failure to appear on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for parole violation on a previous charge of heroin possession. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Forgery — Basha Elizabeth Cohen, 27, no known address. Ashland police arrested Cohen Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree possession of a forgery instrument and for failure to appear on charges of third-degree theft and contempt of court. She was lodged in Jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Crime reports 

Theft — Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 8:46 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Mae Street, Medford. Items reported stolen included an HP laptop, Oakley sunglasses, an external hard drive, an orange and gray The North Face backpack and assorted thumb drives. The loss and damage to the vehicle was valued at $3,215.

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of a chain link fence cut in several spots at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Skypark Drive, Medford. The damage was valued at $1,000.
