Felony arrests

Burglary — Basha Elizabeth Cohen, 37, of the 13400 block of Highway 66, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Cohen on additional felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, identity theft, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree forgery, negotiating a bad check, second-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. Ashland police originally arrested Cohen Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree possession of a forgery instrument and for failure to appear on charges of third-degree theft and contempt of court. She remained in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $55,000 bail.

Drugs — Tina Marie Benson, 45, of the 1900 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Benson Thursday on felony charges of methamphetamine possession and distribution, and on a Washington warrant. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $300,000 bail.

Drugs — Cody Aaron Kenyon, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Kenyon Thursday on a felony charge of heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $25,000 bail.

Court Appearance — William Edward Barks, 63, of the first block of Washington Street, Medford. On Thursday, Barks made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Jesse Lynn Cox, 19, of the 2000 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Cox made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Zachary James Avant, 19, of the 2300 block of Lillian Street, Medford. On Thursday, Avant made his initial court appearance on two felony charges of first-degree theft and two misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance —  Hailee Reann Ireland, 20, of the 3300 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. On Thursday, Ireland made her initial court appearance on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and answered to a failure-to-appear warrant on a charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Kemra Rose McCree, 21, of the 2500 block of East Gregory Road, Central Point. On Thursday, McCree made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of coercion and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Kara Elizabeth Scholer, 33, of the 200 block of North Holly Street, Medford. On Thursday, Scholer made her initial court appearance on four felony charges of first-degree theft, four felony charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree child neglect. She was booked in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Jessa Maria Krebs, 28, no known address. Talent police arrested Krebs Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and for failure to appear on a previous charge of disorderly conduct. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Theft — Shannon Marie Halliday, 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Halliday Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft, for failure to appear on a previous charge of second-degree theft and an out-of-county warrant charging parole violation on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Theft — Jabon Earl Peterman, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Peterman Thursday on felony charges of first-degree theft and identity theft, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and on an out-of-county warrant charging parole violation on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Ronald Jim Milhoan, 51, no known address. Medford police arrested Milhoan Thursday on felony charges of possession, manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Thursday on over $1 million bail.

Robbery — Ruben Ordonez-Moreno, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Ordonez-Moreno on felony charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and unlawful use of a weapon, and misdemeanor charges attempted first-degree theft and menacing. He was lodged in jail Thursday on over $1 million bail.
