Felony arrests

Sexual Abuse — Ryan James Pearson, 21, of the 800 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies charged Pearson Thursday with two additional felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse and and additional felony count of first-degree rape. Pearson was originally lodged in the Jackson County Jail Feb. 9 on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He remained in jail Thursday on $5 million bail.

Forgery — Antonio Miranda Ledesma, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Miranda Thursday on an additional felony charge of first-degree possession of a forgery instrument. He was originally lodged in jail Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a number of failure to appear warrants and for violating his parole on a previous felony conviction for attempted second-degree assault. He remained in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Ashley Lynn Johansen, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Johansen Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and on a sanction for violating parole on a previous meth possession charge. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary — Thomas Bradley Holmes, 33, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Holmes Thursday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and methamphetamine possession, and on a sanction for violating his parole on a previous meth possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary — Kyle Lee Hornsby, 22, of the 11400 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hornsby Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on a warrant for methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Savannah Dawn Crocker, 20, of the 2500 block of Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Crocker Thursday on felony charges of methamphetamine possession and first-degree burglary. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Burglary — Kayla Renee Silverthorn, 30, of the 3800 block of West Main Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Silverthorn Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Christa Maria Lee, 28, of the 100 block of Orr Lane, Merlin. Medford police arrested Lee Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Robbery — John Calvert Meyer Jr., 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Meyer Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree robbery and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $500,000 bail.

Court Appearance — Joseph Eugene Lance, 27, of the 1800 block of Greenwood Street, Medford. On Thursday, Lance made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of criminal possession of rented or leased property. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Melissa Irene Becking, 35, of the 1500 block of Q Street, Springfield. On Thursday, Becking made her initial court appearance on two felony counts of aggravated identity theft, two counts of first-degree theft and a single felony count of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Chelsa Roberta Sartain, 40, of the 1400 block of Northeast Tucson Way, Bend. On Thursday, Sartain made her inital court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Forgery — Chandy Hang, 36, of the 2400 block of South 208th Street, SeaTac, Wash. Medford police arrested Hang Thursday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and money laundering, and for violating federal probation on a previous counterfeiting charge. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Forgery — Yessica Vanessa Fernandez, 19 of the 27400 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast, Kent, Wash. Medford police arrested Fernandez Thursday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and laundering money. She was booked in the jail Thursday.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 5:36 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North Berkeley Way. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous tools, a red toolbox, two Streamlight flashlights, blue Oakley sunglasses, a black leather motorcycle jacket, and an S&W knife with horn handle. The driver's window was reported broken. The loss was valued at $2,850.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 9:03 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Monterey Drive. Items reported stolen included a silver Apple MacBook computer, an orange backpack and a planner. The loss was valued at $1,570.

Lost Property — Medford police took a report of lost property at 12:22 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of East Vilas Road. A dealer truck license plate was reported lost. The loss was valued at $2,500.
