Felony arrests

Drugs — Joshua Dean Lines, 30, of the 800 block of Broad Street, Medford. Lines was arrested Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on failure to appear warrants on felony charges of heroin possession, methamphetamine possession and first-degree theft and failure to appear warrants for misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon, second-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with a police officer. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Levi Michael Jonathan Wear, 28, of the 2600 block of Scenic Avenue, Central Point. Medford police arrested Wear Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and for violating his parole on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Coercion — Zachary Michael Grant, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Grant Friday on felony charges of coercion, first-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine and heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and strangulation. He was lodged in jail Friday on $105,000 bail.

Drugs — Ronnie Ray Williams, 22, of the 700 block of North River Road, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Williams Friday on a felony charge of heroin possession. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Danee Patricia Donna Conken, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Conken Saturday on a felony charge of heroin possession. She was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Joseph Casidy Leavell, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Leavell Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, two failure to appear warrants on previous meth possession charges and for violating his parole on a previous supplying contraband conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Ethan Taylor Sartin, 24, no known address. Central Point police arrested Sartin Saturday on felony charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and interfering with police. He was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Edward Bryant Shelton Jr., 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Shelton Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on a parole violation sanction on a previous felony conviction for failure to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Attempt to Elude — Mario David Smith, 59, of the 2800 block of Rosewood Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Smith Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, reckless endangering, misdemeanor driving while suspended and providing false information to police. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Wade Earl Calkins, 26, of the 700 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Calkins Saturday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on an out-of-county warrant for violating his parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs —  Steven Richard Nagel, 28, of the 1400 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Nagel Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and on a sanction for violating his parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Dru Ceasar Boehme, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Boehme Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police, failure to appear warrants on felony charges of distributing marijuana near a school, second-degree burglary, meth possession, identity theft and first-degree theft, failure to appear warrants on misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, second-degree theft, and interfering with police, and on out-of-county warrants for failure to appear on charges of attempting to elude, reckless driving, reckless endangering and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $185,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 11:30 a.m. Friday near East Main and Willamette Avenue. A TruPulse 360R laser range finder was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,795.
