Felony arrests

Drugs — Nathan Jay Henriod, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Henriod Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.

Assault — Angela Irene Withrow, 37, of the 6800 block of Oakhurst Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Withrow Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and misdemenaor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was booked in the jail and released after posting bail.

Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Theft — Vadym Koshman, 33, of North Highlands, Calif. Medford police arrested Koshman Thursday on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree aggravated theft, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Theft — Viorel Mikhaylovich Petrov, 30, of Antelope, Calif. Medford police arrested Petrov Thursday on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree aggravated theft, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Boyd James Joneses, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Joneses Thursday on a felony warrant charging heroin possession, and on misdemeanor warrants charging resisting arrest and interfering with police. He was booked in the jail Thursday.

Court Appearance — Carrie Jean Frost, 46, of the 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. On Thursday, Frost made her initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joey Lee Hooser, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Hooser Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on third-degree theft and previous meth possession charges. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Andrew Einar McCombs, 29, of the 7800 block of Gladstone Avenue, White City. On Thursday, McCombs made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree burglary and 10 felony counts of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Shawna Kathleen Carey, 43, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Carey Thursday on felony charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine, five misdemeanor counts of felon in possession of a weapon and on an out-of-county warrant charging parole violation in a previous count of driving while suspended. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $535,800 bail.

Court Appearance — Tyler Hall Bryan, 31, of the 600 block of Elkader Street, Ashland. On Thursday, Bryan made his initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Christopher Mark Hancock, 35, of the 600 block of Park Street, Ashland. Medford and Phoenix police arrested Hancock Thursday on felony charges of fourth-degree assault and coercion, misdemeanor charges of harassment, interfering with a police officer, interfering with making a police report, strangulation, and for violating his parole on a previous felony fourth-degree assault conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. 

Theft — Justin Jerry Frischman, 37, of the 5600 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Frischman Thursday on felony charges of first-degree theft, possession of a destructive device, and on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Thursday on more than $1 million bail.

Drugs — Brett Devon Burns, 27, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Burns Thursday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Theft — Frederick Dale Strong, 44, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Strong Thursday on a felony warrant charging first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Christopher Dagan Hooper, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Hooper Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a warrant on a previous charge of meth possession, and a warrant on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $40,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of North Pacific Highway. Items reported stolen included a three-piece "one-of-a-kind" glass water pipe, a "Dab Ninja" glass water pipe, assorted 1-foot tall water pipes and torches. The loss was valued at $1,095.

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 8:25 a.m. Thursday in the area of East Sixth Street and North Central Avenue. Items reported stolen included a black laptop computer, a gray laptop computer, a black iPad in a pink case, a black roller suitcase, a Kindle Fire tablet and a WiFi receiver. The loss was valued at $3,800.
