Aggravated Theft — Robert David Bixler, 33, of the 12300 block of Highway 234, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Bixler Wednesday on an additional felony charge of first-degree aggravated theft and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. Bixler was originally lodged April 27 on felony charges including heroin possession and heroin possession, and misdemeanor charges including fraudulent use of a credit card, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He remained in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $84,000 bail.
Sexual Abuse — Ryan Daniel Butler, 34, of the 2300 block of Gramercy Drive, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Butler Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.
Assault —Ibrahim Abdulaziz Almosallam, 34, no known address. Ashland police arrested Almosallam Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of harassment, strangulation, menacing, fourth-degree assault and interfering with making a report. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on more than $1 million bail.
Burglary — Kevin Eric Miers, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Miers Wednesday on felony warrants charging first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of theft of service, third-degree theft, first-degree theft, a 2012 charge of marijuana possession and tampering with drug records, and on out-of-county warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $108,000 bail.
Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Gardendale Circle. Items reported stolen included a laptop computer in a blue case, pink Bose headphones, a brown tri-fold wallet, credit cards, a Social Security card and military ID. The loss was valued at $1,984.
Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Garfield Street. Items reported stolen included a German shelving unit and two chandelier light fixtures. The loss was valued at $3,300.
Burglary — Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Riverside Avenue. Items reported stolen included a gold full-size iPad and multiple silver 64 GB iPad minis. The loss was valued at $6,780.
