Felony arrests

Coercion — Emilio Manuel Ramirez, 25, of the 2000 block of Suzanna Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ramirez Monday on felony charges of coercion and felony fourth-degree assault on a victim he'd allegedly attacked before, misdemeanor charges of interfering with making a report, harassment, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and for violating a restraining order. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and was released on his own recognizance.

Attempted Elude — Skylar Andrew Barge, 27, no known address. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Barge Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, interfering with a police officer, reckless endangering, second-degree trespassing and driving while suspended. Jackson County sheriff's deputies additionally charged Barge with violating his parole on a previous witness-tampering conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — James Edward Moore, 49, of the 1400 block of Brownsboro Highway, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Moore Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Jovani Sanchez-Portillo, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Sanchez-Portillo Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine possession and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on an out-of-county warrant charging contempt. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $32,500.

Credit Card Fraud — Adam Andrew Swaim, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Swaim Tuesday on 24 felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, 24 felony counts of identity theft, felony charges of first-degree theft and methamphetamine possession, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a concealed knife. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $750,000 bail.

Drugs — Alicia Ann Cook, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Cook Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released on its own recognizance.

Forgery — Joshua Clint Collins, 37, no known address. Ashland police arrested Collins Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and identity theft, a misdemeanor charge of attempted second-degree theft, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of reckless burning, interfering with a police officer, disorderly conduct, second-degree trespassing and possession of a concealed knife. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $39,000 bail.

Theft — Tyson Anthony Jeffries, 27, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Jeffries Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail.

Identity Theft — Kimberly Ann Roberts, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Roberts Tuesday on felony charges of identity theft and first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.

Child Neglect — Kari Borges, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Borges Tuesday on a felony warrant charging first-degree child neglect, a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on three previous first-degree theft charges. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Sexual Abuse — Frederick John Wilkinson, 56, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Wilkinson Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree sexual abuse and three felony counts of second-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on more than $1 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of a burglary to a business at 6:33 a.m. Monday in the 2700 block of North Pacific Highway. Items reported stolen were $2,700 worth of cartons of cigarettes, and the business' door and alarm panel were reportedly damaged. The loss and damage was valued at $3,300.

Theft — Medford police took a report of vehicle break-ins at 9:01 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Rossanley Drive. Items reported stolen included a cowboy hat, rodeo sunglasses, Panasonic voice recorder, golf  pants, dog leash, leather wallet and vehicle escape hammer. The chain link fence nearby was reportedly cut. The loss and damage to the property valued at $1,121.

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Whittle Avenue. Items reported stolen included a gold ring with birthstone, Chinese gold necklace, Chinese gold ring and gold-plated cuff links. The loss was valued at $1,040.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a stolen bicycle at 2:42 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Stevens Street. The bike with carbon fiber forks was valued at $1,000.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a burglary to a residence at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Items reported stolen included a two-piece .91 caratwhite gold ring, approximately 10 pairs of Spy sunglasses, about 20 bottles of cologne, a silver and black Bulova watch with diamonds on it, a gold and silver diving watch, a white Xbox One console with two controllers and two iPads. The loss was valued at $13,509.
