Felony arrests

Theft — Brett Devon Burns, 27, of the 300 block of Teakwood Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies and Eagle Point police arrested Burns Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools, misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, second-degree trespassing, third-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanor theft of services, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday.

Assault — Llomisha Whitney Cook, 23, of the 3000 block of Cummings Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Cook Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Assault — Joseph James Markos, 29, of the first block of South Stage Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Markos Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joshua Glenn Hines, 32, of the 1100 block of Ragsdale Road, Trail. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hines Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Alex Kool Harrington, 33, of the 400 block of Elm Street, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Harrington Thursday on felony charges of heroin possession and first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges attempted second-degree theft, third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree trespassing and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Leonardo Garate-Vasquez, 26, of the 500 block of Village Drive, Central Point. On Thursday, Garate-Vasquez made his initial court appearance on three felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, and misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and falsifying business records. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Marti Nicole Rowell, 22, of the 500 block of Hemlock Avenue, Central Point. On Thursday, Rowell made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Martha Figueroa-Zavala, 46, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Figueroa-Zavala Thursday on felony warrants charging manufacture, distribution and possession of methamphetamine, manufacture, distribution and possession of cocaine and first-degree child neglect. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $150,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North Ivy Street. Items reported stolen included a Graco airless paint sprayer and a natural gas space heater. The loss was valued at $2,800.

Theft — Medford police took a report of stolen 22-inch black wheels and tires at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Sage Road. The loss was valued at $2,700.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft at 11:46 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of West 13th Street. Items reported stolen included a black Sony PlayStation 4, two PS4 controllers and PS4 games including "The Last of Us," "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor," "Injustice," "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and "Grand Theft Auto V." The loss was valued at $1,400.
