Felony arrests

Drugs — Aaron Michael Brown, 29, of the first block of Mill Creek Drive, Prospect. Ashland police arrested Brown Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Adan Montago Mercado, 38, of Quincy, Wash. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Mercado Thursday on felony charges of distributing and possessing cocaine and concealed possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Ashley Anne Gummert, 29, of the 200 block of Dianne Way, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Gummert Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Casey Robert Riley, 42, of the 700 block of Spring Street, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Riley Friday on felony charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine, and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Elude — Michael Allen Naylor, 51, of Tulelake, Calif. Oregon State Police troopers and Medford police arrested Naylor on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and for violating his parole on a previous second-degree assault conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Katilynn Ann Hamilton, 20, of the 700 block of Hopkins Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Hamilton Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and on a warrant charging failure to appear on a previous first-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Austin James Howard, 21, of the 900 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Howard Friday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — Medford police took a report of 16 gold-colored rings stolen at 9:09 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of North Riverside Avenue. The loss was valued at $1,500.
