Felony arrests

Burglary — Jason Allen Burkett, 38, no known address. Central Point police arrested Burkett Monday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, interfering with police and second-degree criminal mischief, on out-of-county warrants for first- and second-degree theft, meth possession and second-degree burglary. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Monday without bail.

Sex Offender Registration — Ronald Kenly Lacy, 47, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Lacy Monday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding.

Court Appearance — Jesse Raymond Ward, 32, of the 4300 block of Dodge Road, White City. On Tuesday, Ward made a court appearance on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree robbery, and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Sex Offender Registration — James William Wood, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Wood Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and for violating his parole on a previous second-degree kidnapping conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Identity Theft — Florence Loreane Boatman, 49, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Boatman Tuesday on a felony warrant charging identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Assault — Michael Patrick Bradley, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Bradley Tuesday on two felony counts of third-degree assault and a felony count of methamphetamine possession, three misdemeanor counts of second-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving, and on a sanction charging probation violation on a previous felony fourth-degree assault charge. He was lodged in the jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Wade Robert Atwood, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Atwood Tuesday on felony charges of distributing and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $528,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 1:13 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Newtown Street. Items reported stolen included an older white Apple MacBook, baseball cards, a white iPad mini, silver watch bands and a RadioShack police scanner. The loss was valued at $2,319.
