Felony arrests

Drugs — Cera Freier, 19, of the 400 block of Chestnut Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Freier Friday on felony warrants charging methamphetamine and heroin possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released because of overcrowding. Medford police arrested Freier again Friday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Friday on $18,000 bail.

Robbery — Dennis Dewey Sullivan Jr., 38 of the 800 block of Beach Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Sullivan Friday on a felony charge of first-degree robbery, misdemeanor charges of attempted assault on a police officer, attempted first-degree theft, fourth-degree domestic violence assault, driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail Friday on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Joshua Daniel Merrill, 34, no known address. Talent police arrested Merrill Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Identity Theft — Jonathan Walter Crofton, 40, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Crofton Friday on a felony charge of identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police. He was lodged in jail Friday on $9,000 bail.

Drugs — Quinton James Padilla, 26, of the 4200 block of Dark Hollow Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Padilla Friday on a felony charge of heroin possession and a felony warrant charging heroin possession. He was lodged in jail Friday on $45,000 bail.

Drugs — Troy Aaron Behnke, 20, of the 3300 block of Cadet Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Behnke Friday on felony charges of distributing and possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Theft — Kevin Joe Hobbs, 56, of the 800 block of Cedar Street, Medford. Talent police arrested Hobbs Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Sex Offender Registration — Michael Porchia, 59, no known address. Medford police arrested Porchia Friday on two felony counts of failing to register his address as a sex offender and a felony count of failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday. He was lodged in jail Friday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Tania Marie Boyd, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Boyd Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree burglary, first- and second-degree theft, meth possession, and on out-of-county warrants for second- and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Friday on $7,200.

Court Appearance — Courtney Jordin Re, 25, of the 700 block of Hazel Street, Central Point. On Friday, Re made her initial court appearance on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle, and on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a Schedule III controlled substance. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Crime report

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Stewart Avenue. Items reported stolen included a Nintendo Wii with Wii Fit Balance Board and other attachments, a heavy duty power drill, Norton security software disc, DVD player, cable box and Zagg screen protector. The loss and damage to a safe was valued at $1,248.
