Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Gary Allen Snow, 44, of the 1000 block of North Fifth Street, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Snow Thursday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree burglary. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Nathan Alexander Coggins, 27, of the 200 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Coggins Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released because of overcrowding.

Mail Theft — Sarah Lynn Smith, 29, no known address. Central Point police arrested Smith Thursday on a felony charge of mail theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance.

Forgery — Charles Raymond Sutton Jr., 20, of the 300 block of South Street, Butte Falls. Medford police arrested Sutton Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree forgery, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, methamphetamine possession and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Alicia Danielle Cox, 26, of the 300 block of Maple Court, White City. Medford police arrested Cox Thursday on a felony charge of heroin possession and on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.

Theft — William James Cummings Jr., 51, of the 100 block of Lapree Street, Talent. Talent police arrested Cummings Friday on felony charges of first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and methamphetamine possession, and for violating his parole on a previous aggravated first-degree theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Robert Allen Rodgers, 48, no known address. Ashland police arrested Rodgers Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender Registration — Tony S. Rueth, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Rueth Friday on felony charges of failing to register as a sex offender and methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — William Jack Cox, 33, of the 200 block of South Orange Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Cox Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Friday and released.

Court Appearance — Adrianne Jean Hart, 32, of the 900 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. On Friday, Hart made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Levi Michael Jonathan Wear, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Wear Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and on a sanction charging probation violation on a previous meth possession charge. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — James Roy Bishop, 33, no known address. Central Point police arrested Bishop Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order and on a California warrant. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Amanda Torres, 30, of the 800 block of East Main Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Torres Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a weapon, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine, supplying contraband and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Friday on $78,000 bail.

Drugs — Mario Daniel Alcauter-Villa, 24, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Alcauter-Villa Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of felony in possession of a weapon, and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for distributing heroin. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Court Appearance — Robert Lee Maphet, 73, of the 1300 block of Locust Street, Medford. On Friday, Maphet made his initial appearance on a felony charge of purchasing sex with a minor. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Cole Alexander Ziegler, 21, of the 500 block of G Street, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Ziegler Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, identity theft and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Friday on $30,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Heidi Leigh Urban, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Urban Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal mischief, identity theft and methamphetamine possession, misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Friday on $52,500.

Crime report 

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism and theft at 11:21 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of North Riverside Drive. A vehicle was reportedly spray-painted and lawnmower parts were reported stolen. The damage and loss was valued at $1,650.
