Felony arrests

Driving while Suspended — Crissi Ann Berry, 35, of the 500 block of Rock Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Rock Tuesday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Sodomy — Evan Elliot Winney, 39, of the 900 block of Sydney Court, Central Point. Medford police arrested Winney Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $500,000 bail.

Drug Possession — Marcella Faye Melgoza, 27, of the 1400 block of Prune Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Melgoza Wednesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and hindering prosecution. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Elude — Angel Jacob Mallory, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Mallory Wednesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and heroin possession, misdemeanor charges or reckless driving, driving while suspended, and for violating his parole on a weapons charge. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drug Possession — Jennith Kay Holmes, 62, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Holmes Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $40,000 bail.

Court Appearance — Curt Ray Guilbeaux, 37, of the 300 block of Wilson Road, Central Point. On Wednesday, Guilbeaux made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree possession of a forged instrument and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drug Possession — Alisha Nicole Guerra, 33, of the 400 block of Glenn Way, Central Point. Medford police arrested Guerra Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Burglary — Quinton James Padilla, 26, of the 4200 block of Dark Hollow Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Padilla Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and heroin possession, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $50,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft of various tools at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of East Main Street. The loss was valued at $6,000.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a stolen silver bike at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of West Main Street. The loss was valued at $4,500.
