Felony arrests

Burglary — Caleb Bradley Malone, 23, no known address. Ashland police arrested Malone Friday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drug Possession — Timothy David Allen, Jr., no known address. Medford police arrested Allen Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police and for violating his parole on a previous meth distribution conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Sex Offender Registration — Matthew Jay Prinslow, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Prinslow Friday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and heroin possession, a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge and for violating his parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Burglary — Cory James Bailey, 28, of the 3100 block of Juniper Ridge Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Bailey Friday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Theft — Scott Allan Croucher, 42, of the 500 block of Southwest Foundry Street, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Croucher Friday on four felony warrants first-degree theft and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drug Distribution — Robert Todd Rossiter, 54, of the 600 block of Plum Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Rossiter Friday on felony charges of distributing, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine and distributing and manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Intimidation — Joseph James Murdock, 37, of the 1800 block of Sunnyview Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Murdock Friday on two felony warrants charging first-degree intimidation, misdemeanor warrants charging second-degree intimidation and second-degree disorderly conduct, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Crime reports

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalized 8-foot by 4-foot windows at 10:07 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Oakdale Avenue. The damage was valued at $1,000.

Theft — Medford police took a report of two stolen Trek bicycles at 8:33 a.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Biddle Road. The loss was valued at $2,400.
