Felony arrests

Court Appearance — Lana Jane Walker, 33, no known address. On Wednesday, Walker made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine. Medford police originally arrested Walker Tuesday on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous first-degree theft charges. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $40,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Edward Allen Stachel, 55, of the 900 block of West Eleventh Street, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Stachel Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Christopher Lee Johnson, 31, of the 1000 block of Arroyo Drive, Central Point. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Johnson Tuesday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, a misdemeanor charge of failing to display his license, a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous hit-and-run charge and for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Brandon Dean McDonald-Roark, 20, of the 100 block of Cedar Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested McDonald-Roark Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Kayla Lee Yarbrough, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Yarbrough Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of methamphetamine possession, second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Michael Edmund Dangerfield, 38, of Selma. Medford police arrested Dangerfield Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released because of overcrowding.

Court Appearance — William Robert Mitchell, 52, of the 100 block of West Jackson Street. On Wednesday, Mitchell made his initial court appearance on a methamphetamine possession charge. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Sean Lee Lansing, 24, of the 800 block of Valley View Drive, Medford. On Wednesday, Lansing made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Samantha Brooke Tasior, 35, of the 1500 block of Bryant Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Tasior Wednesday on felony charges of heroin and methamphetamine possession, and on misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and contempt. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Crime report

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a building at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of East Main Street. A skylight and magnetic lock door were reported broken. The damage was valued at $4,000.
